Margot and Ina are new mothers. Margot is overwhelmed when her baby cries for hours. Ina, is also experiencing a lot of distress. However, she has a strategy for coping with the times when her baby is inconsolable: She arranged beforehand with her partner, a parent, or a friend that they would come and look after the baby in this situation. Although Ina knows that being close to her baby and spending time with her can improve her own mood, she also respects her own need to be helped and to take breaks.
