Strategy: Self-compassion

Self-compassion is about accepting yourself or the reality you face. It is also about forgiving yourself when you don’t feel as “good” as you would like.

It is not about telling yourself that you are better than others nor is about making excuses for yourself. Everyone, at one time or another, experiences personal failure and suffers from it. Self-compassion encourages realistic thinking: You are not perfect, and you have the right to make mistakes.
